Injongo Academy is a private foundation-phase school based in Mfuleni, Cape Town, committed to providing quality, innovative education to young children from underserved communities.
We’re raising funds to build and equip a world-class school that offers scholarships, STEM learning, and a nurturing environment for children who can’t afford private education.
80% of our learners are from need-based backgrounds. Your donation supports school construction, learning materials, and full or partial scholarships for these children.
Yes. Donations through BackaBuddy are secure. We are a registered organization and can issue Section 18A certificates on request for tax deduction purposes (South African donors).
We offer bilingual education (English & IsiXhosa), small class sizes, play-based learning, and future-focused skills like coding, robotics, and entrepreneurship.
Besides donating, you can sponsor a child, volunteer your expertise, donate educational resources, or become a corporate partner.
Injongo Academy is currently in the fundraising and building phase. However, you’re welcome to visit our existing Injongo Educare Centre in Mfuleni to see the heart of our mission in action and meet some of our amazing learners and educators.
